Our integrated design-and-build service brings design, costing, procurement and construction under one coordinated team. You deal with a single point of responsibility from the initial concept through to project completion, which means fewer handovers, clearer accountability and a programme that is planned as a whole.
Engineering-led design that keeps buildings safe, durable and economical. We analyse and design structures of all sizes from house foundations to multi-storey reinforced concrete frames and structural steel and provide inspections and engineering reports.
We build residential and commercial developments with proper supervision, quality workmanship and appropriate material selection including new houses, double-storey homes, multi-storey buildings, offices, institutional buildings, renovations and extensions.
From first ideas to a full set of drawings, we design buildings that work for how you live or operate and that can be built on budget. 3D visualisations help you see the result before construction starts.
Independent, engineering-led oversight that keeps projects on programme and to specification. We coordinate contractors, monitor materials and quality, and report progress clearly ideal for clients who cannot be on site every day.
Know what your project will cost before you commit. We prepare Bills of Quantities, project estimates and material schedules from your drawings, so you can budget, compare quotations and plan procurement with confidence.
Site development and external works carried out to engineering standards from bulk earthworks and drainage to access roads, retaining structures and concrete works.
Design and construction of the water and sanitation infrastructure that developments depend on, including water and sewer reticulation, drainage systems and irrigation.
We procure and source construction and finishing materials for our projects and for clients, including international sourcing where it offers better value or quality.

Do you only construct houses?
No. We work on residential, commercial and infrastructure projects including offices, institutional buildings, industrial structures, civil works and water and sewer infrastructure.
Do you provide architectural designs?
Yes. We provide concept designs, floor plans, elevations, sections and 3D visualisations for residential and commercial projects, as well as alterations and additions.
Do you provide structural engineering?
Yes. Structural engineering is at the core of what we do structural analysis and design, foundations, reinforced concrete and structural steel, detailing, inspections and engineering reports.
Can you construct from existing drawings?
Yes. Send us your drawings and we can review them, prepare a BOQ and quotation, and build from them. Where needed we can also check or complete the structural design.
Do you offer design-and-build?
Yes. Our design-and-build service covers design, costing, procurement and construction with one coordinated team from concept to handover.
Can Zimbabweans living overseas build with Vakanesu?
Absolutely. We have a structured process for diaspora clients, with progress photographs, site videos, written reports and remote meetings so you can follow your project from anywhere.
Can you source construction materials?
Yes. We procure construction and finishing materials, including international sourcing where appropriate.
Can I send drawings through WhatsApp?

Do you prepare BOQs?
Yes. We prepare Bills of Quantities, project estimates, material schedules and preliminary budgets.
Do you work outside Harare?
Yes. We work across Zimbabwe, with particular capacity in Harare and other major towns and cities.
Do you offer project supervision?
Yes. We provide construction supervision, quality control, site inspections and progress reporting including for projects built by other contractors.
